What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it.

1. Who is responsible
Stratos Bio Labs LLC, trading as Stratos Instruments, of West State Street, Garden City, Idaho 83714, United States, is the
controller of personal data collected through this site. Contact:

2. What we collect
- Order information — name, billing and shipping address, email address,
telephone number if you give one, and what you ordered. - Payment information — processed by our payment provider. Card numbers are
entered directly into the provider’s secure form. We never see or store your full card
number. We receive only a confirmation, the card brand, and the last four digits. - Account information — if you create an account, your email address, a hashed
password, and your order history. - Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by
our server logs and used for security and to keep the site working. - Marketing — your email address, only if you subscribe.
3. Why we use it
- To take payment, fulfil and deliver your order, and handle returns and warranty claims.
(Performance of a contract.) - To prevent fraud and secure the site. (Legitimate interests.)
- To keep tax and accounting records. (Legal obligation.)
- To send you marketing email, only where you have subscribed. (Consent — withdraw any time.)
4. Who we share it with
Only with parties that need it to deliver your order: our payment provider, our shipping
carriers, our email provider, and our hosting provider. We require each of them to protect it and
to use it only for the service they provide to us. We do not sell your personal data, and
we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data where legally
required, such as a valid court order.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping your cart, keeping you logged
in, and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can block
cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will not function without the necessary ones.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records: 7 years, to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Account data: until you ask us to delete the account.
- Marketing subscription: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: 90 days.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to
our use of it, or provide it in a portable format. If you are in the EEA or the UK you have these
rights under the GDPR; if you are in California you have comparable rights under the CCPA,
including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Email
support@stratosgoods.store and we will respond within 30 days. We will ask you to
verify your identity first. Note that we may need to keep order records even after an account is
deleted, where tax law requires it.
8. Security
This site is served over TLS. Payment details go directly to our payment provider’s
PCI-compliant form and do not pass through our servers. Administrative access requires individual
accounts and strong authentication.
9. Children
This store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If
you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States and your data is processed there. If you order from outside
the United States, your data is transferred to the United States under appropriate safeguards.
11. Changes
We will post any change here and update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use
your data will be notified by email where we hold your address.
