Dispatch

Orders placed before 14:00 Mountain Time on a business day are normally dispatched the same
day or the next. Orders placed at a weekend or on a United States federal holiday are dispatched
on the next business day. You receive a tracking number by email as soon as the label is made.

Rates and times — United States

  • Standard (3–5 business days) — $9.50 flat. Free on orders of $150 or more.
  • Expedited (2 business days) — $19.50 flat.
  • Overnight (next business day) — $38.00 flat, for orders placed before
    14:00 MT.

Alaska and Hawaii are served at the standard and expedited rates with 2 to 4 additional
business days in transit.

International

We ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia and New Zealand.
International shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination and typically takes 7
to 16 business days. Duties and import taxes are not included and are the
responsibility of the recipient; they are charged by the destination country, not by us, and we
cannot estimate them in advance.

How instruments are packed

Glass and brass instruments are double-boxed with a moulded insert and corner protection. The
barograph ships with the pen arm restrained and the drum separated, with a printed card showing
how to reassemble it — it takes about a minute. Calibration cards travel in a sleeve attached to
the inside of the inner box so they cannot be thrown out with the packing.

If something arrives damaged

Photograph the outer carton before you unpack any further, then photograph the instrument,
and email both to support@stratosgoods.store within 7 days of delivery. We will send a
replacement or a refund; you will not be asked to pay return shipping on a damaged item.

Address accuracy

We ship to the address given at checkout exactly as entered. If you spot a mistake, email us
immediately — we can usually change it before dispatch, and almost never after.
